A planet full of danger and mystery: detailed gameplay for the thriller The Invincible
IGN has released a detailed gameplay trailer for the thriller The Invincible, based on the novel of the same name by Stanisław Lem.
Here's What We Know
The video shows us a walkthrough of the game's demo version, in which the protagonist explores the ruined temporary camp of fellow explorers on planet Regis III.
Just like Lem's book, the game is filled with mysterious atmosphere and enigmatic phenomena. For example, you can see an astronaut in the trailer who doesn't make contact. Those who have read The Invincible know what brought him to this state, but for those who are not familiar with the source material, it will be an unexpected turn of events.
The demo will soon be freely available on Steam, and from April 29 bloggers and streamers can get it by contacting the developers.
New details about The Invincible will be revealed by the developers at the LudoNarraCon event, which will be held from May 4 to 8.
The game is being created by Starward Industries, a studio founded by experienced game designers, who previously worked for CD Projekt RED.
When We Can Expect It
The Invincible is expected to release in 2023. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
