Insider: Due to unforeseen difficulties in acquiring Activision Blizzard, Microsoft has had to abandon several attractive deals
The Microsoft deal with Activision Blizzard has clearly gone off script and has significantly changed the plans of Phil Spencer's team.
While the corporation is trying to convince the world's regulators of the transparency and legitimacy of the merger, all other tasks for Microsoft have been put on the back burner. Thus, a reputable insider and journalist Jez Corden in his podcast The Xbox Two revealed that according to his information due to difficulties with the purchase of Activision Blizzard, Microsoft had to give up several interesting acquisitions.
Jez Corden wouldn't say which companies may have been included in the Xbox internal studios, as he himself isn't 100% sure of the information, but he said gamers would be very disappointed to hear about the deals that fell through.
