According to SteamDB's statistics, CS:GO has set a new attendance record: the last day maximum number of players was 1,557,335!

Recall that in the summer the Counter-Strike 2 release is scheduled to take place and it is possible that the new game will attract as many players, and eventually exceed the number of its predecessor.
