Insider: New Call of Duty will be named Modern Warfare III and will be a direct sequel to the 2022 shooter

Previously it was reported that the new Call of Duty will be a direct sequel to Modern Warfare II (2022), but with a different subtitle.

Now famous journalist and insider Tom Henderson has refuted this information.

Here's What We Know

According to Henderson's sources, the new shooter will indeed continue the storyline of last year's game, but will be called Call of Duty Modern Warfare III.

It is reported that Activision was originally working on a major expansion for the previous game, but the developers later decided to release it as a full-fledged release.

Modern Warfare III will feature a story campaign, multiplayer and zombie mode.

The other day Henderson reported that the marketing campaign for the new Call of Duty will kick off in August, and its release is scheduled for November 10.
