The conflict between Angels and Daemons will escalate with renewed vigour as Blizzard reveals Diablo IV's global storyline and backstory in a new video

Blizzard has released an in-depth video on the backstory and storyline of Diablo IV.

Here's What We Know

The development team recalled that before the creation of Sanctuarium, there was a perpetual war between angels and demons, and to find a refuge from it, Lilith and Inarius created a world in which humans later appeared.

But now, fifty years after the events of Diablo III, Demoness and Angel will once again set foot in Sanctuary, but now not as allies, but as enemies, which obviously doesn't bode well for Hell, Heaven, or mere mortals.

In the video, the developers have noted that to understand the storyline Diablo IV is not necessary to know the events of past parts, as the game - a completely new saga, which will evolve with the release of updates and additions.

This video is positioned as the final video, but after the action-RPG release, Blizzard promises to continue releasing videos about the game.

Diablo IV will be released on June 6 on PC (Battle.net only), Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4.
