Developers are warning: prepare extra trousers! Next Dying Light 2 update will make zombie action much scarier and more atmospheric
Polish studio Techland continues to improve the zombie action game Dying Light 2.
Here's What We Know
Gamers have repeatedly noted that the second part of Dying Light is not as scary and atmospheric as the first game was. The developers have taken gamers' words into account and in the next major update is going to add more horror elements to the game.
In an interview with TheGamer, Dying Light franchise lead Tymon Smektala revealed that the update will be released in early summer and will make the game much scarier.
Horror is in the DNA of Dying Light, so we want to keep it moving into the future. Our next update, scheduled for early summer, focuses on just that - we're enhancing the nighttime atmosphere by making it even scarier. We hope to give players such an intense experience that they'll get their trousers dirty. To do this, we use everything we can: game mechanics, visuals, and sound effects.
