Konami and Genvid have released an atmospheric cinematic trailer for the ambitious horror game Silent Hill: Ascension.

Here's What We Know

The story centres on several characters, who are tormented by guilt for their actions. Fantasmagoric monsters haunt the characters and feed on their heartache. If they are not stopped, they could devour the world.

Silent Hill: Ascension is notable for the fact that its storyline revolves around the actions of millions of players. In essence, we are witnessing an interactive movie in which the episodes will be revealed gradually and the horror may conclude in very unexpected ways depending on the actions of the players.

That's how Motio Okamoto, the producer of Silent Hill: Ascension, put it:

Silent Hill fans and horror fans around the world have a lot to look forward to. We're excited to bring a new interactive story to previously unexplored locations with new characters that will be introduced to fans of the Silent Hill universe. It's up to you to decide the fate of several protagonists whose stories will unfold simultaneously across the globe.

When We Can Expect It

Silent Hill: Ascension is scheduled for release in late 2023, but we do not know what platforms the game will be available on.
