Another studio has opened in Poland, founded by former CD Projekt RED employees.

Here's What We Know

Mateusz Kanik, the director of Cyberpunk 2077 and the director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has founded Blank studio together with a group of like-minded people.

The basic principle of the new company's work will be creative freedom and an unconventional approach to the development of innovative and unique games.

We are happy to announce the opening of Blank.
Having worked for many years in an increasingly conservative industry, we are ready to create bold, impressive projects that unleash our unique creativity.

Where the industry stands for the dictatorship of the creative individual, we want to hand over responsibility to the team. Where industry relies on a culture of recycling, we prefer work-life balance. Where the industry argues that the bigger the better, we aim for high-end games with an emphasis on emotion, story and craftsmanship.

The Blank team has only ten members of staff so far, but they are already working on their first project. It will be a game in a post-apocalyptic setting, in which the player's emotions will play an important role.

So far only one concept art has been published, but no conclusions can be drawn from it.

Blank is planning to expand its staff to sixty people, and invites all interested to collaborate.
