Paradox Interactive will refund pre-orders for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Paradox Interactive offers a refund option to all those who pre-ordered Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.

Here's What We Know

On Wednesday, the company announced that it will automatically refund all physical pre-orders as it updates the various editions of the game. Digital pre-orders will also be refunded upon request:

"We remain just as dedicated to delivering a great Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines game as we were when we announced, and are looking forward to showing you more in September this year. We acknowledge it was a long time ago that many of you pre-ordered Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. As development continues, we will be updating the game’s editions and bonus content, and we want to provide the best value to those of you who supported us via digital pre-order after all this time."

The announcement is also accompanied by five new screenshots:

The development of Bloodlines 2 was complex and lengthy. Initially, the game was developed by Hardsuit Labs with plans for 2020. But in August 2020, the game's release was postponed to 2021, and later the creative director and lead story designer were fired. In February 2021, Paradox again postponed Bloodlines 2 and announced the termination of Hardsuit Labs' development.
