Ubisoft to add a "nostalgic" grey-blue filter to Assassin's Creed Mirage as in the first parts
For fans of nostalgia, Ubisoft will add a special blue filter to Assasin's Creed Mirage that will send players back to the first part of the series.
Here's What We Know
Creative director Stéphane Boudon calls Mirage "a love letter to the origins of the franchise, a coming of age story with rhythm mechanics to bring the feel of the early games into the modern day"
As such, we can expect the game to be more reminiscent of the early Assassin's Creed titles, focused on sneaking and stealthy assassinations, rather than large-scale, incredibly open-world games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey or Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
"We are fully aware of how much our community is looking forward to this game," said Budon, "and we also have a nice surprise for our loyal fans - we have introduced a nostalgic visual filter as an option for those who wish to explore the game with the unique blue and grey colour palette that was in the original Assassin's Creed.
Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC on 12 October.
