Rockstar Games removed more than 150 cars from GTA Online just to make them paid

In the recent GTA Online update, more than a hundred "less popular" cars were removed from the game, and some of them became available only for a fee.

Here's What We Know

Prior to the release of the San Andreas Mercenaries update, Rockstar confirmed its intention to remove certain cars from the game's in-game store. However, it was not known which cars would be removed and what would happen to them. Thanks to the efforts of fans who compiled a list of missing cars, it turned out that more than 200 vehicles were removed from the regular range in GTA Online. According to Rockstar, this should simplify the shopping process.

Although some cars may become available "through other means", the news has caused a negative reaction among GTA Online players due to poorly coordinated changes to the game and the removal of content that in some cases has been present since the game's launch in 2013. In particular, the backlash has been exacerbated by the fact that some of these cars can now only be purchased by GTA Online+ subscribers, meaning that content that was previously available to all players for in-game money is now only available to those who pay a monthly fee.

It is worth noting that if a player has purchased a subscription and then bought cars, they will still have access to this content even if the subscription expires.
