Five new actors have joined The Knuckles TV series, including Christopher Lloyd
Five more actors have joined Paramount's Knuckles, the blue hedgehog series: Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel. They join Idris Elba, who will reprise his role as Knuckles, as well as Adam Pally, who has already played police officer Wade Whipple in both films. The series will also star Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi and Ellie Taylor.
Here's What We Know
The series is a spin-off of the studio's Sonic films and will be available on the Paramount+ streaming service. The plot takes place between Sonic 2 and 3 and tells the story of Knuckles, who trains Wade, becoming his mentor in the art of the echidna warrior. Filming has begun in London, and the pilot episode is directed by Jeff Fowler, who is also an executive producer on the entire series.
