Last June saw the release of the mobile game Diablo Immortal.

Few projects in the history of the gaming industry have provoked such outrage from the public. Gamers were outraged and dissatisfied with the harsh and unjustified monetisation, the primitive gameplay and, of course, the extremely disappointing announcement of Diablo Immortal at BlizzCon 2018.

But the negative public reaction to Diablo Immortal has not affected the game's financial performance.

Here's What We Know

According to analytics company Data.ai, one year after its release Diablo Immortal has brought in more than $500 million for Activision-Blizzard.
