Blizzard recently released Season 5 in Overwatch 2, but it was just a stepping stone for the real big content update - Invasion, which brings a lot of new content, including Flashpoint with two new PvP maps and the first set of paid story missions.

In addition, it also includes features such as Range, which allows you to adjust your aim, and Hero Mastery, which offers different paths for heroes to take (with leaderboards). Although the initial set of Hero Mastery courses was supposed to launch with Season 6 on 10 August, it has been postponed, according to an update on Blizzard's official blog.

When We Can Expect It

A new livestream is scheduled for 21 June, which will show more gameplay from Invasion, but the developers may also provide more details about the upcoming content. So stay tuned.

Overwatch 2 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
