The Escapists 1&2, a pixelated prison escape strategy game, and The Survivalists, an island survival game, are available on Steam until June 29 for less than $10

We wrote that Steam is currently running a promotion dedicated to the Tomb Raider franchise. However, this is not the only interesting offer that is currently available. Indie studio Team17 has launched its own sale dedicated to The Escapists franchise.

The Escapists is a pixel-based strategy game where you play as a hero who has been imprisoned and now needs to organise a breakout by any means necessary. You will explore the prison, interact with other prisoners, and complete various tasks. The game gives you room for imagination as there are hundreds of different items that you can collect and combine to come up with your escape plan and implement it. There is also a prison editor where everyone can create their own and share it with the community.

There is also a second part that takes the best of the original and allows you to play the game with your friends.

There is also The Survivalists, which is very similar to The Escapists, but instead of a prison, you find yourself on an island where you need to survive, build, extract resources, hunt, and complete various quests.
