Elias Toufexis, who voiced Adam Jensen from Deus Ex, has not yet been invited to work on the sequel to the series
Deus Ex is probably at the top of the list of the most anticipated franchises to return in the future for many fans. This exciting series of role-playing simulations did not receive a sequel with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which was released in 2016. After Embracer Group acquired Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, as well as the rights to such projects as Deus Ex and Tomb Raider, fans hoped for a new game.
Here's What We Know
It's hard to say for sure at this point, especially after a recent tweet from Elias Toufexis, who voiced Adam Jensen in Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, where he said that while he is "happy with what I'm doing now", he would like to work on Deus Ex more. He also noted that he has no deal to continue Deus Ex, as no one has called him.
According to a November 2022 report by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, a new Deus Ex game is in the "very, very early stages" of development. It is likely that Tufeksis was not invited to the project because the game has not yet reached the voice acting stage. Perhaps it's in pre-production while the developer works on its new intellectual property, which is rumoured to be a new co-op role-playing game, as indicated by the recently updated job listing.
