The cult strategy game is back! Devolver Digital has announced Stronghold: Definitive Edition remaster. The game will feature a new story campaign
Publisher Devolver Digital and FireFly studio made an announcement that will delight fans of early 2000s strategy games.
Here's What We Know
The developers will release an updated version of the cult strategy Stronghold (2001).
The re-release with the subtitle Definitive Edition will offer gamers all the same strategy about life in medieval England.
In 26 tasks from two story campaigns users will have to build settlements, take care of resources, produce food, gather an army and crush enemies.
In addition, in Stronghold: Definitive Edition there will be a brand new story campaign of 14 missions.
The developers have improved graphics and texture quality, adapted the game for modern computers and monitors, re-recorded the soundtrack, added new maps to the multiplayer mode, and players who can't get enough of the innovations can improve the game themselves in the "Steam Workshop".
When We Can Expect It
Stronghold: Definitive Edition will be released on the 7th of November on PC only (on Steam).
