In honour of the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic, fans have restored a video of an early build of the game that was supposed to be shown at E3 2001
On the 15th of July, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic celebrated its 20th anniversary, and it seems that it was not as big an event as it was expected to be a year ago. Given that the game remake is still in development, this anniversary was not accompanied by a significant pomp from the official side, but fans had something that could at least compensate for the situation: footage from an early build of the game that has not been shown before:
Here's What We Know
The Noclip Game History Archive YouTube channel shared a video presentation of KOTOR that was supposed to be shown to the press at E3 2011, which took place two years before the game's official release. Since E3 itself was not yet a well-planned exhibition at that time, this video was a real opportunity to look behind the scenes of how Knights of the Old Republic was created.
In any case, it is always interesting to see what was going on behind the scenes, and this video was a nice tribute to the beloved game based on the "galaxy far, far away" on its twentieth year of existence.
