Ubisoft has announced free weekend for five games in the Assassin's Creed franchise and significant discounts on most parts of the series

Publisher Ubisoft has announced an interesting promotion for those gamers who want to familiarise themselves with the Assassin's Creed franchise.

Here's What We Know

From 10 to 14 August there will be a free weekend for five games in the series, which fans consider to be among the best: Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Valhalla

In addition, depending on the platform and subscription services, gamers can also get other promotional offers on games in the series, including significant discounts.

On PC, the promotion will take place on Ubisoft Connect, but Valhalla can also be accessed on the Epic Games Store.

On Xbox, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can take advantage of the offer. Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and their DLCs will be 70% off until 15 August, while other games in the series will be 85% off from 15 to 28 August.

The offer is roughly the same for the PS4 and PS5 versions of the games.

PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers will get access to the Ezio Collection and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
