Monster Hunter Now mobile AR game from the creator of Pokémon GO has more than one million users pre-registered
Monster Hunter Now, a mobile AR game from Niantic, the creator of Pokémon GO, will be released in September.
Here's What We Know
Many companies tried to repeat the success of Pokémon GO and released similar games, but almost all of them were not popular among players.
It's hard to say what fate awaits Monster Hunter Now, but the developers state that already now a million players have pre-registered.
The studio reminded that the more users register for the game before its release, the more valuable in-game rewards they will receive.
Monster Hunter Now is similar in concept and implementation to Pokémon GO: players will also have to search the streets of cities for creatures from the Monster Hunter universe. Unlike Pokémon GO, the new game will not only search for monsters, but also fight them.
When We Can Expect It
Monster Hunter Now will be released on iOS and Android on 14 September.
