Polish publisher CI Games continues to introduce gamers to the nuances of action-RPG Lords of the Fallen.

Recently IGN published an exclusive gameplay video, and now the editorial staff of the portal interviewed the developers, in which they told about ten character classes in their game.

Here's What We Know

So, before starting the game, users will have to choose a character of one of the ten classes. Each of them has an individual set of skills and weapons, unique starting items, strengths and weaknesses.

Blackfeather Ranger is an excellent long-range fighter. Able to fire two types of arrows, he is weak in close combat, so it is recommended to avoid direct contact with the enemy.

Condemned is probably the most unusual character. For a long time he was under torture, he managed to escape from his tormentors, taking from the torture chamber items that will be used in battle. The developers do not recommend choosing this character on the first playthrough, as he requires competent control.

Dark Crusader - game designers call it the optimal class for the first playthrough. He has great strength in close combat and uses a long sword. The Dark Crusader is well protected, but is not effective in ranged combat. This is the hero depicted on most Lords of the Fallen posters.

Exiled Stalker is a cunning and agile rogue armed with two daggers. He has great potential, but only experienced players will be able to use it, so beginners are not recommended to choose this class.

Hallowed Knight is a classic warrior armed with a sword and shield. This class is versatile and perfect for the first playthrough. In addition, his arsenal includes homemade bombs.

Mournstead Infantry - armed with a spear and has high manoeuvrability, which compensates for the lack of damage. Characters of this class go from a common soldier to a brave knight.

Orian Preacher is a powerful spellcaster who is great for experienced players. He is clad in a cloak, so he doesn't have much defence, but he effectively deals with enemies with magic. Since the plot of the game is largely tied to religious motifs, this class fits perfectly into the narrative and is suitable for passing.

Partisan - a variation of the Hallowed Knight class, but instead of a sword, he is armed with a dagger and a crossbow. Effective at long range.

Pyric Cultist - a wizard specialising in fire magic, he also has cold weapons at his disposal. He is particularly effective with a staff.

Udirangr Warwolf is a fierce warrior who is incredibly effective in close combat. He can set his weapons on fire and hit enemies with fire.

When We Can Expect It
