Many players of Baldur's Gate 3 have encountered a serious technical problem.

Gamers complain that in some cases the game does not load saves and even deletes them, and it is impossible to restore lost progress.

As the most likely cause of such a serious bug is called the activation of the option to send saves to the cloud. Larian Studios gameplay designers advise to disable synchronisation with the cloud, delete the folder with saves and run the game without synchronisation enabled. Progress will still be lost, but you can start the game again without fear of the situation repeating itself.

The developers have recognised the problem and are already working on a fix. We hope this will happen as quickly as possible, as hundreds of thousands of players want to continue their comfortable adventure in the incredible fantasy world of Baldur's Gate 3.
