Baldur's Gate III developers announced that the game is now fully compatible with Steam Deck
Larian Studios has announced that Baldur's Gate III has been tested for compatibility with Steam Deck, which means that the game can be played comfortably on the device.
Here's What We Know
This news comes after the game received its first update, which fixed many bugs and glitches, and, most importantly, disabled cross-saving in an attempt to fix a bug that prevented players from saving their games. It's worth noting that immediately after the release, Baldur's Gate III's online player base began to grow at an incredible rate and, according to the latest data, exceeded 500,000.
The excellent success of the game also influenced the position of the developers, who confirmed that they are not currently considering selling their work, emphasising the importance of creative freedom for the studio rather than making a profit.
Currently, Baldur's Gate III is available only on PC, but the PlayStation 5 version will be released on 6 September, while the Xbox Series version is still in development.
