The remaster of the cult shooter Quake 2 has been released. The game features support for many modern technologies, as well as a set of new levels from MachineGames studio
As predicted by insider billbil-kun, at the opening ceremony of the QuakeCon 2023 festival Bethesda announced and immediately released a remaster of the legendary shooter Quake 2.
Here's What We Know
In Quake 2 Remaster players have access to all the content of the cult game, including two expansions, but with improved graphics, high-resolution textures, modern controls and support for the latest technologies.
The gift to fans will be a set of brand new 28 levels Call of the Machine and one map for the mode "Fight to the Death". The famous MachineGames studio - the author of modern Wolfenstein parts - worked on the innovations.
In the game is available multiplayer up to 16 people and co-operative up to 4 players, as well as crossplay.
Quake 2 Remaster is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
