Google Pixel smartphones get new generation call filtering feature
Google has announced an important update to its Pixel line of smartphones - a new generation of call filtering. The new feature improves on the existing Call Screen system with a Hello button that launches Google Assistant to check calls.
Here's What We Know
After pressing this Hello button, the assistant will ask the caller the reason for their call, and the user will be able to hear the answer in real time. This allows you to answer important calls and reject unwanted ones directly from the phone screen. The update is available for Pixel Fold, Pixel 6 and later phones.
This is just one aspect of a larger feature update for Pixel smartphones. In particular, Google now allows you to share 10-bit HDR videos directly to Instagram, which allows you to maintain video quality when posting. In addition, the company has expanded the availability of Circle to Search to the Pixel 7, which allows you to search for things by drawing a circle around an object.
