Google Pixel Watch 3 can use this Apple Watch feature
Google is preparing a major update for its upcoming smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 3. The new product may borrow a feature that has been exclusive to Apple Watch until now.
Here's What We Know
According to reports, Google is developing an improved wireless connection system for its upcoming watch. This update should improve the accuracy of location tracking and allow remote unlocking of the device using ultra-wideband (UWB) communication.
Over the past few years, Apple has been implementing Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology in its smartwatches, which allows for accurate location of devices. This technology is also used in products such as AirTags and phones, including the iPhone 11. It is also worth noting that UWB technology is already used in Google Pixel phones and top Samsung Galaxy models. However, until now, this technology has not been implemented in Google Pixel Watch for security and automatic unlocking of connected phones.
This may change with the release of the new Pixel Watch 3, which, according to new reports, uses UWB technology for the Watch Unlock feature. The corporation has improved the accuracy and speed of unlocking the device and provided users with another argument in favour of this smartwatch.
