Samsung has manufactured 51% of the components for the Google Pixel 7 Pro

More than half of the components in Google's flagship Pixel 7 Pro smartphone were made by South Korean manufacturer Samsung. This is according to analyst agency Counterpoint Research.

Here's What We Know

The most expensive component in the smartphone is the 6.7" LTPO AMOLED display. Its share of the total material cost is 20%. The supplier is Samsung. The South Korean company has developed the 50 MP ISOCELL GN1 camera, sensors for the periscope and front-facing camera, as well as the entire communication system.

The Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5-type RAM made by Micron or Samsung. The embedded memory also comes from South Korea, but from SK Hynix. The battery manufacturer is ATL, the wired charging is NXP and the wireless is IDT.

The components in the 12/128GB variant are priced at $413. You can buy the Pixel 7 Pro for $749, though its recommended price is $899.
