Honor beats Huawei, Samsung and leads the foldable smartphone market in China with its Magic V2 model

Huawei and Honor control more than half of the Chinese market of foldable smartphones. This is reported by the analytical agency Omdia.

Here's What We Know

The leader of the Chinese market is Honor, which has a share of 28%. The company sold 1.7 million devices. A key success factor was the Magic V2 model, which accounted for a quarter of sales in the third quarter of 2023.

Huawei is in second place with a 26% share. Rounding out the top three is South Korea's Samsung, which controls 19 per cent of the market. OPPO and vivo also made it to the top five. Their shares were 11% and 10% respectively.
