Honor Play 6C: 90Hz display, Snapdragon 480+ chip, 5000mAh battery and up to 8GB of RAM, starting at $152

Honor held an event in its home market of China, where it unveiled the new budget smartphone Honor Play 6C.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is equipped with a 6.5-inch display with IPS matrix, HD+ resolution, aspect ratio 20:9 and refresh rate of 90 Hz. At the top of the panel placed a drop-shaped cutout with a 5 MP front camera (f/2.2). The main got two sensors for 13 MP + 2 MP. The smartphone also got a side fingerprint scanner, a headphone jack and a 5000 mAh battery with 22.5W charging support.

The Honor Play 6C runs an octa-core Snapdragon 480+ processor paired with an Adreno 619 GPU, 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. It can be expanded with microSD up to 1TB if desired. The smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port and support for fifth generation (5G) network. Out of the box, the novelty has the Android 12 operating system with MagicUI 5.0 proprietary interface.

Honor Play 6C has already started selling in China. The smartphone costs from $152.
