Snapdragon 888, up to 19GB of RAM, 4,800mAh and 144Hz IPS display at a price starting at $290 - the Honor X40 GT smartphone has been announced
As expected, Honor unveiled the Honor X40 GT smartphone by the evening of October 13.
Here's What We Know
The novelty is equipped with last year's Snapdragon 888 chip, but even now its capabilities are enough to run any game. The company said that it has worked on the cooling of the single-chip system. The cooling is provided by eight graphite sheets. The evaporation chamber has an area of 4,000 sq. mm.
Honor X40 GT got a Full HD+ IPS LCD display. The panel has a diagonal of 6.81" and supports a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The screen has a round cutout for the front camera based on a 16MP image sensor. The main camera resolution is 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP.
The smartphone has a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Honor X40 GT got 8/12 GB of RAM, and by supporting the function of RAM expansion, the volume can be increased by 7 GB. In addition, the novelty has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and a lateral fingerprint scanner. Dimensions are 166.1 x 75.8 x 8.5 mm with a weight of 199.5 g.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The start of sales of the smartphone is scheduled for October 18. The model will hit the market in black, silver colors and Racing Black with yellow inserts on the back. The Honor X40 GT in 8/256GB and 12/256GB variants will cost $290 and $320, respectively.
