Honor X50 Pro unveiled: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 108 MP camera and 120 Hz display for $400
Honor has officially unveiled a new smartphone, the Honor X50 Pro.
Here's What We've Seen
The Honor X50 Pro sports a large 6.78-inch OLED display with 1200×2652 pixel resolution, an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a refresh rate of 120Hz. But it's not an LTPO panel, so the frequency only switches between 60Hz and 120Hz.
Inside, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 5,800mAh battery with 35W wired charging support. The smartphone runs Android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 on top.
The 8 MP selfie camera is located in a neat cutout in the screen. And the main camera is designed in the form of a rather large ring on the back panel. However, only two sensors are placed there: a 108 MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.75 and an additional 2-megapixel sensor. There is also a "MATRIX AI VISION CAMERA" inscription and a few LED flashes.
The Honor X50 Pro is available in black or green colours. It costs around $395 for the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. Whether the smartphone will be available in the global market is still unknown.
