Honor X8b: 50 MP selfie camera, 108 MP main camera and Snapdragon 680 processor for $240
Honor has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the Honor X8b. It is an upgraded version of the Honor X8.
Here's What We've Seen
So, the smartphone got a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. The oval cutout houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a soft LED flash.
And on the rear panel is located the main camera in a square block, the design of which is clearly reminiscent of the latest models of Apple smartphones. The camera includes a 108 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro camera.
The Honor X8b also gets a Snapdragon 680 processor, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4,500mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.
Here's What It Costs
The smartphone is priced at $240, but that price is relevant to Saudi Arabia, where it was unveiled. In what other countries it will be available - it is not clear yet. There are several colours to choose from (Midnight Black, Titanium Silver and Glamorous Green) and storage options (8/128GB, 8/256GB, 8/512GB).
