Huawei FreeBuds 4E 2024: wireless headphones with active noise cancellation and 26 hours of battery life for $100

Huawei has unveiled the new Huawei FreeBuds 4E 2024 wireless headphones. This is an updated model of the FreeBuds 4E released in 2022.

Technical Characteristics

Externally and in terms of characteristics, the headphones are very similar to their predecessors, only the battery life differs. The FreeBuds 4E 2024 feature a 14.3mm dynamic driver, have Active Noise Cancellation 2.0 technology and use 3 microphones with ENC (ambient noise cancellation) for clear sound during conversations.

Bluetooth 5.2 technology is used for wireless connectivity, and the headphones can connect to two devices at the same time.

The headphones themselves offer 4 hours of battery life, with the charging case extending that time to 26 hours. For comparison, the previous model had 22 hours. However, with noise cancellation enabled, the autonomy is reduced to 17 hours.

In addition to many similarities in specifications and design, the official website does not indicate information about IP64 dust and water protection, although the 2022 model has it.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4E 2024 are available in two colours (Frost Silver and Ceramic White) and cost around $100.
