Huawei Mate 50 Pro introduced in Europe - Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, 120Hz display and IP68 at a price of €1399
Huawei introduced the European version of the flagship Huawei Mate 50 Pro, which debuted in China about three weeks ago. Residents of Europe will get an almost identical phone, but more expensive and without the RS Porsche Design version.
Here's What We Know
The specifications of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro are almost unchanged. The flagship is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor without 5G support, 8GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. The battery capacity was 4,700 mA*h, the wired charging capacity was 66 watts, and wireless charging was 55 watts. But there is no satellite communication.
The smartphone has a main camera of 50 MP + 13 MP + 64 MP with OIS and 3.5x zoom without loss of quality. The main module has an object with a variable aperture of f/1,4-4. The camera can shoot 4K video at a frame rate of 60 FPS. On the front, there is a 13 MP front module.
The OLED screen is based on a 1212p panel with a frame rate of 120 Hz and a diagonal of 6.74". The display has an integrated fingerprint scanner. It is also possible to remove the lock with the help of 3D face recognition. In addition, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro gets stereo sound, IR port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 and IP68 water protection.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Huawei Mate 50 Pro will go on sale soon. The 256GB storage version will be available in silver and black colors for €1299. The version with 512 GB of storage will appear in Leather Black color for €1399. The price in China is €1020 and €1165 respectively. Huawei Mate 50 Pro runs on the Android operating system with EMUI 13 filmware.
