Huawei P50 Pocket New bendable smartphone will get Snapdragon 778G instead of Snapdragon 888 and will cost from $720

Huawei will present an updated version of the bendable P50 Pocket smartphone this fall. It will have a less efficient processor, but it will cost less.

Here's What We Know

The original smartphone, announced in December 2021, got 256GB and 512GB of built-in storage, and cost $1375 and $1550, respectively. Huawei P50 Pocket New will please users more with the price. You'll be able to buy the 256GB version for $720. The top version will cost about $1000.

Huawei P50 Pocket New will retain a 6.9" OLED Full HD+ display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 8 GB of RAM regardless of the modification. Presumably, the smartphone will retain 40 MP + 13 MP + 32 MP and 10.7 MP cameras, a 4000 mA*h battery with 40-watt charging and an additional 1" screen.

The company will abandon the Snapdragon 888 mobile chip. Along with it, a less productive Snapdragon 778G processor will be installed. Huawei P50 Pocket New will go on sale with pre-installed HarmonyOS 3.0 firmware.
