Apple, after months of testing, has announced a stable version of iOS 16.2.
Here's What's New About It
The main innovation of the operating system is the Freeform collaboration application. With it, you can create notes, sketches, drawings and much more.
The developers have also updated the architecture of the Home app in iOS 16.2. The program now supports the Matter protocol for smart devices. In addition, the system has extended support for ProMotion (120 Hz).
Another innovation is the Sing function - a karaoke mode for Apple Music service.
Moreover the developers installed end-to-end encryption for many applications, including iCloud Backup, Notes and Photos. Also in the firmware fixed a lot of bugs, installed the ability to disable the wallpaper in Always On Display mode for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max and much more.
When We Can Expect It
iOS 16.2 has already started rolling out in waves to all supported iPhone models.
