Apple has announced a test version of iOS 16.4.

Here's What's New About It

The new version of the operating system has received many small but useful changes. For example, the developers have added new emoji to the firmware.

In addition, iOS 16.4 has received support for notifications from websites. This will work when the website is added as a web app to the iPhone desktop.

They've also tweaked the HomeKit architecture, added a separate profile button for Apple Music, and given the Podcasts app and Coverage section a minor update.

When We Can Expect It

The test version of iOS 16.4 can already be installed by users with a developer profile. The open beta version of the system will be released in the coming days. As for the stable firmware, we should expect it in the spring.
