Apple releases stable version of iOS 16.5: what's new and when to expect the software

Apple, after almost two months of testing iOS 16.5, has released a stable version of the firmware.

Here's What We Know

The update weighs about 1GB and contains many small but useful changes.

New Siri features have been added to the system. For example, the voice assistant has learned to enable and disable screen recording. Apple has also slightly updated News app with a new section - Sports. The software has also fixed Spotlight issues. Users also got a new Pride live wallpaper and improved security.

When We Can Expect It

The update has already started rolling out in waves to all iPhone models supported. You can check for OTAs in your smartphone's settings.
