Apple has increased the speed of Haptic Touch in iOS 17 Beta 2, the feature is now more like 3D Touch
Apple recently announced the second beta version of iOS 17. Developers have studied it and found a useful improvement in the system.
Here's What We Know
Apple has added an option to the new software test build that allows you to increase the speed of Haptic Touch. Previously, there were two options to set up the feature, but now there are three: Fast, Slow and Default. According to users who have already tested the innovation, the increased speed of Haptic Touch is very similar to 3D Touch.
Flashback
3D Touch was a haptic technology that supported multiple levels of pressure on the display. Apple introduced it in 2015 with the release of the iPhone 6s. With the release of the iPhone XR in 2018, the company dropped 3D Touch and instead introduced a simplified Haptic Touch feature.
