China unveiled the LeEco S1 Pro: a clone of the iPhone 14 Pro with the same design and Dynamic Island, but 8 times cheaper

The fact that Chinese manufacturers from year to year produce cheap smartphones that completely copy (and not always qualitatively) the appearance of the iPhone is not new to anyone. Apple itself seems to turn a blind eye to this. So does the next novelty - the LeEco S1 Pro.

Details

This is a budget clone of iPhone 14 Pro, which completely repeats the design of Apple's flagship: it has the same appearance, flat edges, the design of the main camera and even the Dynamic Island cutout, which appeared in the iPhone models in 2022.

But the similarities end at the design, because inside it is far from the top-of-the-line iPhone 14 Pro. The LeEco S1 Pro gets a 6.5-inch LCD display with 720×1600 pixels and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz, a 12nm Zhanrui T7510 processor, a 5 MP front-facing, 13 MP primary camera and a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The smartphone offers Huawei mobile services instead of pre-installed Google services. And no wonder, because they do not work in China.

LeEco S1 Pro can safely be called an iPhone for the poor, because it costs almost 8 times cheaper - $133 instead of $999 for a new iPhone 14 Pro.
