Avatar: The Way of Water has been digitally released. Not yet available on Disney+

As previously announced, the digital version of Avatar: The Way of Water was released today on a number of online cinemas.

The hit James Cameron film is already available on streaming platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, Movies Anywhere and several others.

That said, the sequel will appear slightly later in the Disney+ platform catalogue, with an exact date still unknown.

The digital version of Avatar: The Way of Water includes not only the movie, but three hours of additional content about the filming process.

Avatar 2 will be available on disc soon.
