Old friends and new enemies: Disney has released posters featuring the main characters from the Ahsoka series

Ahsoka, a TV series based on the Star Wars universe, is set to premiere soon.

Film company Disney and Lucasfilm released several posters with the main characters of the series.

Here's What We Know

The posters show the central characters of the series: Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati and Morgan Elsbeth.

Recall, the action series "Ahsoka" will unfold after the defeat of the Galactic Empire and in parallel with the events of the series "The Mandalorian".

The main character of the series will be Jedi Ahsoka Tano - a former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker. She was one of the central characters in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, and also appeared in The Mandalorian. Her role will be played by Rosario Dawson.

Ahsoka will attempt to rescue her friend who was captured by Admiral Thrawn many years ago - this happened at the end of the Star Wars Rebels animated series.

When We Can Expect It

The Ahsoka series will premiere on 23 August on the Disney+ streaming service. On that day, viewers will see two episodes of eight episodes at once.
