The ultrafast premiere is rushing to home screens: 'The Flash' starts streaming later this month!
Fans of the DC universe and superhero films, your patience will finally be rewarded. If you missed DC's newest big-screen adventure, you'll soon have the chance to catch up right at home with Max, the streaming service from Warner Bros.
Here's What We Know
The film, from "It" director Andy Muschietti, will once again introduce Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, aka The Flash. This time the events will take an interesting twist: thanks to an unpredictable journey into the past at super speeds, we will see unexpected changes in the present. The film will also bring back Michael Keaton's Batman and introduce Supergirl, embodied by actress Sasha Calle and a few other cameos....
When We Can Expect It
You can officially start streaming "The Flash" on Max - 25 August.
DC's other big releases this year, "Shazam: Fury of the Gods" and "Black Adam," appeared on Max 48 and 56 days, respectively, after the film premieres. "The Flash," however, had a slightly longer gap - 71 days between its theatrical and streaming debuts.
