An adaptation of the popular video game, Amazon Prime's "Fallout" TV series will debut in 2024 with the first footage unveiled at Gamescom. Three years after it was first announced on Bethesda's official website, and a year after photos from the site were leaked on social media, Gamescom attendees finally got a glimpse of footage from Amazon Prime's soon-to-be-released "Fallout" series.

Here's What We Know

Unexpectedly, the clip was shown during the Starfield presentation at the Xbox booth during the show. The event was hosted by Todd Howard and Phil Spencer. According to Gamescom, the video includes a montage of elements familiar to Fallout players.

The footage shows people crossing the hostile wastelands of the desert, as well as a woman emerging from one of the game's hideouts. The video also shows characters wearing the iconic power armour, and a brief glimpse of Vertiberd. Finally, there's a brief shot of a nuclear explosion, with the city resembling Los Angeles. Confirming this information, Prime Video's official Twitter account shared a message confirming that Los Angeles will be the setting for Sanctuary 33, and also pointed to a 2024 release date for the series. However, an exact date was not provided.

This showing at Gamescom was the first time any official clips from the series were shown to the public.
