Adam Copeland, known for his 20-year wrestling career in WWE as Edge, is preparing to make his debut as Ares, the Greek god of war, in the upcoming adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+. He spoke about his character and noted that Ares will not be at all as cute as he seems.

Copeland shared a shot of his character on social media. He posted an Instagram photo of Ares in a leather jacket sitting on a motorbike. Not holding back his excitement, he wrote: "The strike is over so I can finally say, Ares is coming!". He also noted that his character will not be at all as cute as he appears in the photo.
Copeland is known as a WWE superstar, but he has also fulfilled himself as an actor. The fighter has appeared in popular shows such as "Vikings," "The Flash," "Private Eyes" and "Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series."
The director of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," Rick Riordan, previously noted that the dual careers of wrestler and actor are a great fit with Copeland's role in the series.
