'The Last Of Us' star Pedro Pascal is rumoured to be gearing up to play Reed Richards in Marvel's upcoming 'Fantastic Four' movie
According to Deadline, Pedro Pascal is in active talks to play the role of Reed Richards, aka Mr Fantastic, in Matt Shakman's Fantastic Four.
Here's What We Know
The contract has yet to be signed, but fans are already actively holding their fists that the agreement will happen as soon as possible. Pascal is popular and has become a crowd favourite after his roles in 'The Last Of Us' and 'The Mandalorian'. Not surprisingly, many dream of seeing the actor as Reed Richards.
Mr Fantastic, portrays a research scientist who forms a group including his best friend Ben Grimm, wife Sue Storm and her brother Johnny to conduct an illegal starship launch. As a result of exposure to cosmic radiation, the foursome gains unique abilities, which they intend to use for the good of humanity.
Mr Fantastic was previously embodied by John Krasinski in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where he was unfortunately killed by the Scarlet Witch.
When We Can Expect It
The new Fantastic Four is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
