Rick Grimes' return to the world of The Walking Dead: A new trailer for "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" has been launched and a release date has been announced
Andrew Lincoln is returning to the role of Rick Grimes, and we'll finally know when he's made an appearance thanks to a new teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.
Here's What We Know
It looks like even the zombies have frozen in anticipation, because Rick Grimes is returning for the first time since his departure in season nine.
Last night, 19 November, AMC Channel released a trailer that reveals the exact date when viewers will be able to meet Rick and Michonne again in their new adventure in "The Walking Dead" universe.
As a reminder, the original series ran for 11 seasons. Many fans began to lose interest in the show because of the monotony of stories and long storylines. But, the creators took a risk and began to release spin-offs, which, fortunately, "revitalised" the franchise by focusing on the beloved characters getting into new situations and places.
Finally, after years of pre-announcement, the series, The Ones Who Live, will fulfil the promise and continue the story of Rick Grimes beyond the main plot. The original plan was to bring Rick back in a film format, but in the aftermath, the project turned into a TV series.
Given how long fans have waited for Andrew Lincoln's return, the season promises to be another guaranteed hit for the series.
When We Can Expect It
"The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" will be released on February 25, 2024.
