Crime drama 'The Bikeriders' starring Tom Hardy and Austin Butler has found a new home after Disney dropped the project: Focus Features has picked up worldwide distribution rights
After Disney and 20th Century Studios dropped the project, The Bikeriders will be released by Focus Features.
Here's What We Know
According to Deadline, Focus Features has acquired the global distribution rights to the film in partnership with New Regency, with Universal responsible for distribution outside the U.S..

Here's What The Movie Is About
The main character Katie, played by Jodie Comer, recounts her marriage to wild biker Benny, played by Austin Butler, and how she tried to cope with his violent nature in the name of love and loyalty to gang leader Johnny, played by Tom Hardy.
The film, directed by Jeff Nichols, is based on the 1968 photo book of the same name, which includes photos and stories from members of the Chicago Outlaws motorbike club.
When We Can Expect It
After The Bikeriders was removed from Disney's film schedule and temporarily postponed due to the strike (original release date was December 1, 2023), it now appears that the film is expected to hit big screens in 2024.
