The filming of The Last of Us season two was postponed due to Pedro Pascal's busy schedule
In early November, HBO CEO Casey Bloys announced that the second season of The Last of Us TV adaptation would start filming in early 2024. Later, the productionlist website, which tracks announcements about the start of filming of films and TV series, reported that the series would start filming on 7 January 2024 in Vancouver, Canada. However, the plans have changed somewhat.
Here's What We Know
The filming process was postponed again, but this time due to the busy schedule of Pedro Pascal, who plays Joel in the series. The actor will return to filming Gladiator 2 in January, and recently he joined the cast of the Marvel's Fantastic Four reboot.
The filming of the second season of The Last of Us will start on 20 February 2024. It is planned to be finished no earlier than 9 September 2024, and we will be able to watch the sequel in 2025.
We would like to remind you that the first season became a real success for HBO and received 24 Emmy nominations, so the second season became known even before the first season finale was released.
