Warner Bros. have released the first trailer for "Furiosa"

At the end of the week, studio Warner Bros. Pictures presented the first trailer of "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" from director George Miller.

The trailer was unveiled during a panel Warner Bros. Pictures at the CCXP convention in Brazil:

The new film, which is a prequel to the events of 2015's "Mad Max: Fury Road," will star Emmy Award winner Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead role.

Here's What The Movie Is About

In "Mad Max: Furiosa," when the world fell, young Furiosa was kidnapped from the Green Corner of Many Mothers and found herself in the hands of the mighty Biker Order under the command of Chief Dementus. As they make their way through the Wasteland, they stumble upon the Citadel under the rule of Immortan Joe. As the two Tyrants wage war for supremacy, Furiosa must endure many trials while gathering the means to return home.

The film also stars Chris Hemsworth as Dementus, as well as Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson and Quaden Bayles.

"Furiosa" is released in cinemas on 24 May 2024.
